“The Black M.D. Scholarship has played a big role in me getting into medical school and provided a crucial financial foundation that enabled me to pursue my dream of becoming a physician. This scholarship eased the burden of educational expenses and also served as a testament to the importance of diversity and representation in the medical field. With the support of the Black M.D. Scholarship, I was able to focus more on my studies, engage in meaningful extracurricular activities, and contribute to my community. It also provided me with mentors that helped me with MCAT tips and interview questions and prep and I am very grateful! ”
Fun Fact: I have only left Texas once!
